Lead Educator - Byford the Glades

About the role

Busy Bees, a global early learning provider with over 130 centres in Australia, is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator for its centre at Byford the Glades (Unit 1, Lakeside Plaza, Byford, WA). This is a full-time position where you will lead the daily learning program in your room, support educators and create a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children's development, wellbeing and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences

Required profile

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
• Current Working with Children Check for WA
• Demonstrated experience leading a room in an early learning environment
• Genuine commitment to child safety and alignment with Busy Bees values

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Collaborative and supportive leadership style
