Lead Accounts Payable & Receivable

About the role

Evolution Mining, a gold producer operating six mines across Australia and Canada, is looking for a Lead Accounts Payable & Receivable to join its Shared Services team. Reporting to the Group Manager Shared Services, you will lead the AP/AR team and ensure efficient, accurate and compliant transactional finance services across the business. The role involves guiding a small team, acting as a key escalation point for stakeholders and contributing to reporting, controls and process improvement. It is based in the Brisbane office, with flexibility options available.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the AP/AR team
• Manage service delivery and stakeholder relationships across multiple sites
• Monitor KPIs and report performance outcomes
• Support vendor management and compliance activities
• Drive continuous improvement and process standardisation initiatives
• Contribute to the broader Shared Services leadership team
• Support reporting and insights that help business decision making

Required profile

• Experience leading Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or transactional finance teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience coaching and developing team members
• Exposure to Shared Services or multi-site operational environments
• Continuous improvement mindset and collaborative leadership approach

Required skills

• ERP platforms and advanced Excel
• Power BI reporting tools (highly regarded)
