Lawyer – Wills & Estates (Full‑time, Brisbane)

About the role

Little Estate Lawyers is seeking a qualified Lawyer to join its boutique Brisbane team. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of wills and estates matters, providing clear, client‑focused advice and representation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft wills, powers of attorney and other estate‑planning documents.
• Advise clients on succession planning, probate and letters of administration.
• Prepare and file court documents for probate, estate administration and litigation.
• Represent clients in estate‑litigation matters, both making and defending claims.
• Conduct legal research, review evidence and prepare correspondence, pleadings and affidavits.
• Attend client meetings, conferences and court appearances as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient matter progression.

Required profile

• Admission as a lawyer in Queensland with a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrated experience in wills and estates law, including probate and estate administration.
• Experience or exposure to estate litigation is an advantage.
• Strong written communication and client‑service skills, with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines and priorities in a busy practice.
• High ethical standards, professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Legal research and drafting of wills, powers of attorney, pleadings and affidavits.
• Proficiency with legal practice management software, document management systems and standard office applications.
