Lawyer or Associate – Litigation & Insolvency

About the role

MinterEllison is seeking an experienced Lawyer or Associate to join its Brisbane Dispute Resolution team. You will work closely with partners Melinda Smith and Michael Vickery, providing strategic advice to a prestigious client base that includes regulators, major financial institutions, large corporates, and leading insolvency practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in complex commercial litigation, regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and insolvency matters.
• Collaborate with senior partners to develop case strategies and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Engage with AI and emerging technology tools to improve efficiency and client service.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with solid experience in commercial litigation, financial services, regulatory litigation or insolvency.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high‑profile, sophisticated matters.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
