Laundry Assistant – Whitfield

About the role

Provide quality cleaning and laundry services that support residents' comfort, dignity and wellbeing in an aged‑care setting. Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming home environment, ensuring daily cleaning, linen and clothing services meet high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform washing, drying, folding and distribution of residents' laundry.
• Clean common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms according to infection‑control guidelines.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report any faults.
• Ensure supplies such as detergents and linen are stocked.
• Follow safe work and hygiene procedures at all times.

• Strong focus on cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow safe work and infection‑control practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
