Laundry Assistant – Aged Care Facility

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to join our aged‑care community in Tiwi. You will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents by delivering high‑quality laundry and cleaning services.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute linen and clothing according to hygiene standards.
• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow infection‑control and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies.

Required profile

• Strong focus on cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to safe work and infection‑control practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, positive attitude and punctuality.
