LANSA Developer

About the role

We are seeking a senior LANSA Developer to join our team in Sydney for a six‑month fixed‑term project supporting financial services and superannuation solutions. The role involves designing, coding and maintaining applications on the IBM i platform using LANSA technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using LANSA RDML and Visual LANSA IDE.
• Integrate solutions with LANSA Integrator and Composer.
• Work with IBMi architecture, Control Language scripts and DB2 databases.
• Support existing systems, handling incident and problem management in line with ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with agile development teams to deliver features for superannuation products and comply with Australian legislation.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in LANSA development (senior level).
• Strong background with IBM i, Control Language and DB2.
• Experience in financial services IT, particularly superannuation and related regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a support role and follow ITIL problem/incident procedures.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices.
