Labourers & Skilled Trade Assistants – Water Project

About the role

Buildability Group is recruiting a crew for a leading national contractor installing a new Sydney Water Pre-Treatment Plant at Horsley Park. This is a major infrastructure project with plenty of hours, and the client has a pipeline of work across water, mining, energy and industrial projects. The position is casual.

Key responsibilities

• Support fitters, pipe fitters and boilermakers with piping, structural steel and mechanical installation
• Handle, move and prepare materials and equipment
• Carry out general site labouring, housekeeping and site setup
• Work safely at heights and from EWPs as required
• Follow site safety procedures and help keep the work area compliant

Required profile

• Experience on construction, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, shutdown or industrial sites
• For trade assistants: hands-on experience assisting tradespeople on piping, steel or mechanical installs
• Safety-first attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic
• Able to take direction and work well within a crew
• White Card, driver's licence, EWP (yellow card), working at heights

Required skills

• Highly regarded: confined space, telehandler, basic rigging, CN/C6, first aid, silica awareness, fit test

What we offer

• Rates including $11 per hour in allowances: labourers $46.87 per hour, skilled trade assistants $48.13 per hour
