Kitchen Steward

About the role

As a Kitchen Steward at Pullman Bunker Bay, you will ensure the kitchen environment remains spotless and hygienic, supporting the culinary team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our luxury resort.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual methods.
• Remove rubbish, sweep and mop kitchen floors, and follow proper chemical sequencing for disinfection.
• Assist the kitchen brigade with basic food preparation tasks such as grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes and seasonings.

Required profile

• Practical experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is a plus.
• Positive, motivated attitude with a “can‑do” mindset.
• Ability to work in a diverse, fast‑paced team.
• Flexible availability for shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial dishwashers.
• Manual cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Basic food preparation techniques (grating, peeling, chopping).
