Kitchen Hand

About the role

Join the vibrant kitchen team at Sea World and keep the heart of the park running smoothly. As a Kitchen Hand you will maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace, supporting a fast‑paced, high‑volume food service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, dry and return all kitchenware to its designated area.
• Follow hygiene and food‑safety procedures, including sanitising work surfaces and hand basins.
• Empty and clean rubbish bins, refill hand‑towel dispensers and soap.
• Spray benches with sanitizer, clean kitchen floors and cold‑room doors, seals and flaps.
• Bleach chopping boards, descale dishwashers, dry store shelving, and clean ice‑machines, range hoods and chest freezers.
• Assist with event set‑up and pack‑down as required.
• Work flexible shifts – early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong teamwork spirit.
• Reliable transport and ability to work at any Village Roadshow Theme Park property.
• Availability for varied shift patterns, including public holidays.
• Experience in high‑volume kitchen operations is an advantage.
• Understanding of food hygiene and food‑safety programmes.
