Kitchen Attendant - Holiday Resort

About the role

Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort in Yamba is looking for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Attendant to help keep its busy kitchen and food truck running smoothly. The role suits someone starting a hospitality career or already with kitchen experience, within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team with food preparation and general kitchen duties
• Keep kitchen, food preparation and dishwashing areas clean, organised and efficient
• Wash and maintain cooking equipment, utensils and kitchen tools
• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient preparation as required
• Maintain high food safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Work collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage team

Required profile

• A positive attitude and willingness to join a busy team
• An interest in hospitality, food preparation and kitchen operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members
• Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays and peak holiday periods
