Kitchen Assistant

About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for producing the fresh ingredients that go into our signature salad bowls. You will receive thorough training and a clear career path within a high‑performing, service‑oriented culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with ingredient preparation in the central kitchen.
• Operate state‑of‑the‑art processing machines safely and efficiently.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Ensure daily product quality, food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with fellow Kitchen Assistants, Supervisors and Managers to deliver an exceptional product.
• Model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards.

Required profile

• Experience working in industrial or restaurant kitchens.
• A passion for food and kitchen operations.
• Exceptional understanding of food safety guidelines and practices.
• Self‑motivated, positive, service‑oriented, flexible and ethical with a high degree of integrity.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial kitchen processing machines.
• Food safety compliance and sanitation procedures.
• Basic inventory management.
