Key Account Manager – National Distribution Channels

About the role

The Key Account Manager – National Distribution Channels will be based in South Australia and will own the relationship with key distributor networks and strategic customer accounts across Australia. You will work closely with distributors, internal teams and selected end‑users to drive growth of the DON product portfolio and deliver long‑term commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with major distribution partners.
• Drive sales growth and uncover commercial opportunities across distributor networks and customer groups.
• Partner with distributors to execute product launches, promotional activities and other initiatives.
• Support selected national accounts and strategic customers across multiple states.
• Lead or contribute to projects that improve customer outcomes and overall business performance.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and influence positive outcomes with customers and distributors.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders to meet customer and business objectives.
• Gather market intelligence and customer insights to inform future growth strategies.
• Ensure robust planning, reporting and execution across your portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Strong relationship‑management capability and confidence working with key customers.
• Existing network within the South Australian distributor space is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects and priorities simultaneously.
