K-6 Teacher – Permanent or Fixed‑Term (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

Bertram Primary School is building a pool of qualified Kindergarten to Year 6 teachers for permanent and fixed‑term positions, available full‑time or part‑time throughout the 2026 school year and until the end of Term 2, 2027. Successful candidates will join a forward‑looking, community‑focused school that values inclusive, high‑quality teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and AITSL standards.
• Create safe, orderly and engaging learning environments that support student wellbeing and achievement.

• Collaborate with staff to contribute to a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Participate in school initiatives that enhance inclusive practice and leadership capacity.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with current registration to teach in Australia.
• Demonstrated commitment to student learning, engagement and wellbeing.
• Ability to maintain high expectations for self and students.
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to school community.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and AITSL teaching standards.
• Effective lesson planning, delivery and assessment techniques.
