K-6 Teacher (Kindergarten to Year 6)

About the role

Wirrabirra Primary School is building a pool of qualified teachers for Kindergarten to Year 6 positions. Appointments may be permanent or fixed‑term, full‑time or part‑time, and will commence throughout the 2026 school year up to Term 3 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
• Apply evidence‑based teaching practices and the Teaching for Impact framework.
• Use data to differentiate instruction and target learning needs in real time.
• Integrate Digital Technologies into daily teaching activities.
• Maintain a positive, organised classroom environment through effective behaviour management.
• Collaborate with staff from the Wirrabirra Education Support Centre to maximise learning opportunities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with evidence‑based pedagogical strategies.
• Ability to analyse student data and adjust teaching accordingly.
• Knowledge of Digital Technologies and willingness to incorporate them.
• Experience supporting English as an Additional Language/Dialect learners is desirable.
• Reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional growth.
