Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

Liven Communities is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its fast‑growing team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide primary in‑house legal support across contract management, compliance, regulatory monitoring and stakeholder liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and manage HPAs and other contracts using established precedents.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting lifestyle and land‑lease communities.
• Respond professionally to queries from purchasers and their legal representatives.
• Support corporate governance and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate daily with the CEO and senior leadership on legal matters.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer or experienced paralegal with at least 5 years in property or legal support roles.
• Strong legal drafting ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident in handling conversations with external lawyers and senior internal stakeholders.
• Personable, autonomous and able to thrive in a lean environment.

Required skills

• HubSpot familiarity (bonus).
