Junior IT Support (Part‑time)

About the role

Inspire Early Learning Journey is seeking a proactive Junior IT Support professional to provide day‑to‑day technology assistance for its Head Office and multiple campuses across Victoria. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys troubleshooting, helping users, and learning new cloud‑based systems in a fast‑growing education environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line IT support to staff at the Head Office and campuses.
• Troubleshoot computers, iPads, printers, scanners, email, internet, Wi‑Fi and common software issues.
• Assist with user onboarding and off‑boarding, account setup, permissions and device configuration.
• Support Microsoft 365 suite – Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and related cloud services.
• Maintain IT asset records, basic documentation and user guides.
• Provide basic network, printer and campus IT setup when required.
• Liaise with vendors for support cases, hardware orders and service requests.
• Travel to campuses for on‑site troubleshooting, equipment setup and small projects.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in IT, strong logical thinking and patient communication.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions and document work clearly.
• Willingness to obtain a Victorian driver’s licence and Working with Children Check.
• Study background or experience in IT, engineering, computer science or related fields is advantageous.

Required skills

• Windows operating system.
• Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Basic networking concepts – Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, printers.
• Apple devices (iPad) and Apple School Manager.
• Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, Intune device management.
• PowerShell or Power Automate scripting.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Moodle/LMS, GitBook.
