Junior Estimator – Timber Joinery

About the role

Bretts' Allkind Joinery division is seeking an enthusiastic Junior or Intermediate Estimator to grow a career in specialised timber manufacturing. The position is on‑site at our Queensland office with full training and support.

Key responsibilities

• Review site reports, architectural plans and tender documentation to analyse specifications.
• Prepare quotes, pricing, take‑offs and tenders for custom timber packages.
• Liaise with clients, architects, builders and internal teams to coordinate project details.
• Work with senior staff to hand off finalised quotes into production runs.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months estimating experience, preferably in timber joinery or a related manufacturing trade.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and documentation.
• Current Queensland driver’s licence.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable work ethic and a genuine interest in learning custom timber crafts.

Required skills

• Experience with Joinerysoft, AutoCAD or the AWS estimating system.
• Comfortable learning new specialised software.
