Junior Desktop Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Junior Desktop Engineers to join our team across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In this fully onsite position you will provide in‑person TechBar support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help ensure a smooth technology experience for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver walk‑up TechBar support for hardware, software and access problems.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and macOS device issues.
• Assist with device onboarding, replacements and configuration.
• Support Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Outlook and VPN applications.
• Perform incident triage using ServiceNow or similar platforms.
• Coordinate escalations with backend teams.
• Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation.
• Provide meeting‑room technology assistance when required.
• Achieve high customer satisfaction through timely resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and basic macOS troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory user management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Willingness to work shifts and be on‑call as needed.
