Junior Accountant

About the role

We are a well‑established boutique public practice accounting firm seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Subiaco. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse client portfolio while receiving ongoing support and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
• Compile and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Assist clients with day‑to‑day compliance queries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support senior team members on a varied portfolio of engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Australian public practice accounting.
• Experience within a WA or East Coast Australian accounting firm.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to develop a long‑term career in public practice.
• Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship).

• MYOB (or similar accounting software)
