ITS & Electrical Project Manager – Construction & Maintenance

About the role

Ventia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of road, civil, electrical and ITS projects. You will own the end‑to‑end planning, execution and handover of construction and maintenance works, ensuring they meet cost, schedule, safety and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Own project delivery from planning through to completion.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and overall commercial performance.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier engagement and performance.
• Drive program timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
• Lead project teams and support site delivery outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support work‑winning and business development activities.
• Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are consistently met.
• Report on project performance, costs and progress to leadership and clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering civil‑electrical construction or maintenance projects.
• Strong commercial and financial management capability.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Confident interpreting drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder and client engagement skills.
• Leadership ability to influence and drive quality outcomes.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field (highly desirable).
• Experience with road or infrastructure projects, preferably with Main Roads WA (highly desirable).
• Experience managing projects up to approximately $5 million (highly desirable).
• Exposure to electrical and/or ITS projects (highly desirable).
