IT Traineeship – Hands‑on Support & Cloud Experience

About the role

This entry‑level traineeship offers hands‑on experience in an IT support environment while providing formal training in core technology concepts. You will work alongside senior technicians across the Inner West and Sydney CBD, gaining exposure to cloud systems, user management and on‑site equipment deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with day‑to‑day IT support tasks for a diverse user base.
• Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, telephony solutions, email and collaboration platforms, user accounts and security infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot software, infrastructure, network and security issues.
• Provide frontline support, identify technical faults and participate in incident management.
• Visit remote sites around Sydney to perform maintenance, upgrades and user assistance.
• Prepare and deploy equipment to ensure high service levels.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset records and contribute to procedural improvements.
• Support general duties within the technology team and office.

Required profile

• Demonstrated interest in information technology, including informal or self‑directed experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with users from varied backgrounds.
• Strong teamwork orientation and willingness to follow directions.
