IT Systems Administrator

About the role

Metrea is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support global IT operations for its Australian team and the wider organisation. You will deliver end‑user services, manage device lifecycles and ensure a seamless technology experience for colleagues across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide responsive, customer‑focused support for onboarding, transfers, off‑boarding and day‑to‑day technology issues.
• Configure, deploy and maintain laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and collaboration tools, including Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Coordinate equipment returns, device refresh programmes and hardware replacements while maintaining accurate asset and inventory records.
• Monitor and fulfil service requests, incidents and operational tasks within agreed service levels.
• Support meeting rooms, audio‑visual equipment and workplace technology, and assist with procurement activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or infrastructure roles.
• Proven ability to work independently in onsite environments and support geographically dispersed users.
• Experience with classified networks is highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Azure environment support, including Intune‑managed devices.
• Endpoint provisioning, asset lifecycle management and inventory control.
• Audio‑visual and collaboration technology support.
