IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our internal IT team in Western Sydney. This hands‑on position will be the primary point of contact for end‑user support, device management, and day‑to‑day IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software, and business systems.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and business applications.
• Log and manage incidents and service requests via the ITSM system.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Intune, user identity services and endpoint management.
• Provision and deploy laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Assist with procurement, asset lifecycle management and licence compliance.
• Support IT security initiatives, including patching, vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.
• Contribute to process improvement, documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support, service‑desk or desktop‑support environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint‑management platforms.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, VPN and Wi‑Fi.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively.
• ITIL knowledge is highly regarded.
