IT Support Officer – Level 1 (Mildura, Northern Victoria)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Officer to deliver Level 1 IT services for a large‑scale project in Northern Victoria. Based in Mildura, you will be the first point of contact for users, handling both desk‑side troubleshooting and on‑site hardware deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical assistance face‑to‑face and onsite, logging and triaging incidents under tight time constraints.
• Configure, test, deploy and de‑commission laptops, printers, field devices and specialised operational equipment.
• Resolve routine issues such as user logins, password resets, software errors and basic wired/wireless network connectivity.
• Maintain accurate asset tracking records and documentation for all deployed equipment.
• Work rostered shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, and travel between local sites as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in Level 1 IT support, service desk or field technical assistance.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and ability to travel to nearby sites.
• Full Australian work rights.
• Ability to handle sensitive data with political neutrality and professionalism.

• Basic wired and wireless network troubleshooting.

• Hourly rate of $51.55 plus 12 % superannuation.
