IT Support Engineer (Microsoft 365 & Azure)

About the role

Permaconn is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to provide front‑line technical assistance across the business. You will keep staff productive, ensure system security, and maintain healthy endpoints while working within a strong Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support requests for Windows and macOS devices, logging all activity in Jira Service Management.
• Provision, modify, and de‑provision user accounts and access rights via Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and manage SSO for tools such as GitLab, SharePoint, and internal applications.
• Manage endpoint devices through Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.
• Maintain hardware, install software, and support SaaS applications used by the organisation.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager and follow through to resolution.
• Create and update self‑service guides, onboarding documentation, and provide training to staff on IT tools.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune device management.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for user education and documentation.
