IT Support Engineer – Client Systems & Troubleshooting

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to install, configure, and maintain client computer systems while providing timely technical assistance. The role involves both on‑site visits and remote support to ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure client computer systems.
• Respond to IT support requests from clients.
• Diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues during client meetings.
• Provide technical support on‑site or via remote‑access tools.
• Offer solutions that meet client needs and maintain strong client relationships.
• Repair hardware malfunctions, resolve software problems, and troubleshoot networking issues.
• Track work records, manage tickets, and compile detailed job reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a technical support engineer.
• Strong time‑management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Required skills

• Knowledge of web services and APIs.
• Understanding of IP‑based protocols.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Shell.
• Solid knowledge of computer hardware.
• Familiarity with networking systems.
