IT Support Administrator

About the role

Elastic is looking for an IT Support Admin to keep its technology environment running smoothly and to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to team members. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage network devices, and help onboard new employees.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support tickets, diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, and train users on new tools.
• Maintain the office network, peripherals, and inventory of hardware and software licenses.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and document configuration changes.
• Configure, test, and assess network devices, implement security protocols, and work with vendors.
• Assist users with software usage best practices and provide onboarding support.

Required profile

• 2+ years of technical support experience in a corporate setting.
• 2+ years troubleshooting hardware and software, including repairs.
• 1+ year experience with network configuration and administration.
• Experience with cloud‑hosted solutions such as Google Workspace, Okta, NetSuite, or Salesforce.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, IP addressing), routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Meraki, HP hardware, and common office peripherals.
• Familiarity with device management tools (JAMF, Meraki, Intune).
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation.
• Experience using ticketing systems and managing hardware/software inventory.
