IT Service & Support Desk Technician

About the role

Campbell Property Group is looking for a motivated L1 Service & Support Engineer to join its IT team at the Norwest head office. You will be the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance, helping to keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support via phone, email and chat.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software and network issues.
• Assist with setup, configuration and maintenance of property‑management IT systems.
• Escalate complex tickets to L2 engineers and track resolution.
• Document all support actions in the ticketing system.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance for new software releases.
• Deliver onboarding guidance and training on hardware, software and best practices.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience in an L1 service and support role.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to communicate clearly.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and proactive in improving support processes.

Required skills

• ITSM and ticketing systems.
• Remote support technologies.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• Hardware and software configuration and deployment.
• Cloud‑based applications and mobile device management.
• Active Directory, user access control and password management.
