About the role
The Service Desk Officer will join the IT team at Albury Wodonga Health’s Wodonga site, acting as the first point of contact for staff needing technical assistance. You will deliver first‑level support for incidents and service requests, ensuring professionalism and adherence to service‑level targets.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1st‑level customer service for IT incidents and requests via phone, email, online chat and face‑to‑face.
- Log, track, and resolve tickets, maintaining clear communication between requesters and technical teams.
- Prioritise and manage workload in a dynamic environment to meet agreed service levels.
- Collaborate with the wider IT team to identify and implement continuous service improvements.
Required profile
- Degree or Certificate III in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple channels.
- Current valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Experience working in the public health sector is preferred.
