IT Service Desk Analyst L1

About the role

Michael Hill is hiring an IT Service Desk Analyst L1 at its Brisbane Support Centre. You will be the first point of contact for team members across Australia, New Zealand and Canada, providing support and solutions that keep the business running. Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line support by phone and through ticketing systems
• Troubleshoot technology issues and help users find solutions
• Log, manage and prioritise support requests
• Escalate complex issues to specialist IT teams when needed
• Create and maintain clear support documentation
• Assist with IT asset management and system administration
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and the user experience
• Support technology projects and business initiatives across the organisation

Required profile

• Experience in a service desk environment, or a first step into the IT industry
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Interested in further study in IT or a related field
