IT Analyst & System Administrator – Digital Canberra

About the role

The ACT Public Service is seeking an IT Analyst and System Administrator to support Digital Canberra systems, including the ACT Digital Health Record. This temporary 12‑month role involves technical support, system management and small ICT projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Digital Canberra applications, including development work on the ACT Digital Health Record.
• Manage user requests, audits and system administration tasks to ensure seamless operation.
• Deliver second‑level support for operational issues within the Digital Health Group.
• Investigate and research assigned ICT tasks and chronic technical issues, proposing resolution options.
• Lead small ICT projects to meet business objectives and produce technical documentation.
• Support Digital Canberra project teams by assessing and prioritising technical requests.

Required profile

• Highly desirable experience with national healthcare systems such as My Health Record.
• Previous experience working within a healthcare environment.
• Training or experience with the ACT Digital Health Record (DHR) system.
• Eligibility for a temporary 12‑month fixed‑term position with potential for permanency.
