Inventory Manager

About the role
This hands‑on position is responsible for managing raw material inventory in a fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing environment in Perth’s southern suburbs. The role ensures inventory accuracy, supports high‑volume production flow, and offers a clear pathway to people‑management responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day raw material inventory for production.
- Conduct rigorous cycle counting and maintain accuracy across all bin locations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and write‑off drivers.
- Work across SAP and multiple other ERP systems to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with inbound materials and warehouse teams to support smooth operations.
- Prepare and analyse inventory reports to aid operational decision‑making.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented professional who enjoys methodical work and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to investigate discrepancies.
- Comfortable asking questions and navigating complex systems in a fast‑moving environment.
Required skills
- Experience managing raw or bulk material inventory.
- Strong cycle‑counting and inventory reconciliation abilities.
- Proficiency with SAP and other ERP platforms.
