International Group Reporting Manager

About the role

The Redpath Group, a global mining contractor with nearly 10,000 employees, is seeking an experienced International Group Reporting Manager to join its Brisbane head office. The role takes ownership of financial reporting, statutory compliance, governance and audit across operations in Indonesia, Botswana and Kazakhstan, working with senior finance leaders locally and internationally and leading offshore finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consolidated IFRS financial reporting to Redpath headquarters in Canada.
• Oversee statutory reporting and compliance across several international jurisdictions.
• Manage external audit processes and coordinate year-end reporting.
• Drive governance of balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls and reporting processes.
• Support month-end and year-end close across international operations.
• Review cash flow, debtor and working capital reporting.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders across Australia, Indonesia, Botswana, Kazakhstan and Canada.
• Lead, develop and mentor offshore finance teams.
• Identify process improvements, standardisation and efficiency gains.
• Support the Financial Controller, CFO and finance leadership on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, group accounting, consolidation or financial control.
• Strong IFRS reporting and consolidation expertise.
• Experience in multinational organisations and foreign currency accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Experience leading remote or offshore finance teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and major ERP platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Hyperion or Essbase.
• Stakeholder management and communication; proactive in a fast-paced global environment.
