Internal Audit Senior Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Consultant in the Internal Audit practice, you will support delivery of internal audit and advisory engagements for a broad client portfolio, working closely with managers and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct walkthroughs, stakeholder interviews, and control testing activities.
• Prepare audit scopes, work programs, process flowcharts, and client deliverables.
• Identify control weaknesses, business risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Document findings and recommendations and maintain positive client relationships.

Required profile

• Experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or consulting environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, growth‑oriented mindset and willingness to travel to client sites.

Required skills

• Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO and COBIT.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks like ISO 31000.
• Understanding of governance, risk and internal control concepts.
