Interior Trim Apprenticeship – Engineering Workshop

About the role
Join Qantas Group’s 2027 Engineering Apprenticeship Programme and develop a specialised trade in aircraft interior trim. You will work in our Melbourne engineering workshops alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining hands‑on experience while studying for a nationally recognised qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Manufacture, repair and install aircraft fabrics, trims and furnishings.
- Ensure all interior components meet the highest safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to the overall look, feel and comfort of cabin interiors for millions of passengers.
- Use specialised tools and equipment to shape and finish interior components.
Required profile
- Strong interest in practical, hands‑on work with a focus on detail.
- Good manual dexterity and confidence using a range of hand tools.
- Proactive attitude, commitment to safe work practices and a desire to build a long‑term aviation career.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
