Interior Designer – Premium Experiences

About the role

Tennis Australia is seeking an Interior Designer to shape premium hospitality experiences for the Australian Open and Summer Series events. Working full‑time on a permanent basis, you will collaborate with the premium experience team to design and deliver temporary event environments that delight guests.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of hospitality and event spaces across the Australian Open and Summer of Tennis portfolio.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, presentations, floorplans, spatial plans and 2D/3D renders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, partners, suppliers and contractors from concept through onsite delivery.
• Provide onsite support during build, operation and pack‑down, ensuring high‑quality standards.
• Research emerging hospitality and experiential design trends and contribute innovative ideas.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering interior, hospitality, experiential or event design projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements and deliver under pressure.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and passion for premium hospitality.

Required skills

• Advanced Revit skills for design documentation, spatial planning and 3D visualisation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Familiarity with Monday.com, Smartsheet and Miro (bonus).
