Interior Designer – Lead Projects

About the role

COX Architecture is looking for an Interior Designer who will take ownership of projects from concept through construction. You will lead smaller commissions, manage packages on larger schemes, and influence design direction across a range of workplace, education, cultural and public environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process for small‑scale projects and act as package lead on larger assignments.
• Engage with clients to develop concepts, material palettes and spatial strategies.
• Produce documentation, coordinate with consultants and oversee construction delivery.
• Facilitate design workshops and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of interior design experience in an architectural practice.
• Relevant design qualification (e.g., Bachelor or Master in Interior Architecture).
• Strong judgement and communication skills to guide teams and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Competence in CAD software.
