Interior Designer – Commercial & Workplace Projects

About the role

BELL Architecture is looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join its architectural team. You will help shape commercial, workplace, industrial and mixed‑use interiors, turning client briefs into functional, attractive environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, workplace strategies and space‑planning solutions.
• Produce detailed documentation, schedules and drawing packages using Revit.
• Select and specify finishes, fixtures, furniture and materials that meet project objectives and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, suppliers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in client workshops, meetings and design presentations.
• Ensure all documentation complies with Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Support project delivery from feasibility and concept design through construction and handover.

Required profile

• A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the Australian market.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit for interior documentation.
