Intelligent Automation Engineer

About the role

Join Zurich’s growing Intelligent Automation Engineering team and help drive the company’s digital transformation. Working in an agile squad, you will design, build and support enterprise automation and AI solutions that improve customer and employee experiences while reducing manual effort.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
• Build AI‑enabled solutions and intelligent workflows that improve operational efficiency.
• Develop integrations across enterprise platforms, data sources and business systems such as SQL, Snowflake and APIs.
• Support, maintain and enhance existing automation solutions to ensure reliability and security.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, engineers and business stakeholders within agile delivery teams.
• Contribute to governance, reusable development patterns and best practices for low‑code and AI adoption.

Required profile

• Technically strong automation engineer with deep Power Platform experience.
• Solid foundation in software development and data engineering.
• Curiosity for emerging AI technologies and ability to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborative mindset with a delivery‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio).
• Software development using Python or Java.
• Working knowledge of SQL, data integration concepts and Snowflake.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON and modern integration patterns.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Microsoft AI Services and the Azure ecosystem.
