Integration Architect – ICT (6‑month contract)

About the role

This 6‑month contract position is for an Integration Architect within a large public‑sector organisation supporting essential services across Brisbane. The role is hybrid, with the first full week on‑site and subsequent work split between office and remote.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver project milestones, deliverables and outcomes on time, to specification and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the CPFS Solution Architect and functional experts to translate functional designs into secure, scalable interface and extension designs.
• Work with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, network and other teams to ensure designs align with Queensland Health standards and the broader Integration Architecture.
• Analyse Queensland Health S/4HANA, i.Pharmacy and external systems (e.g., myTeamGE) to define technical integration approaches.
• Own end‑to‑end technical design of custom CPFS interfaces and extensions, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and regulatory policies.
• Produce comprehensive documentation such as Solution Architecture Design (SAD) and Solution Implementation Design (SID).
• Define and deliver scalable integration patterns for SAP S/4HANA, supporting RFC, IDoc, OData, REST and SOAP, and enable cloud‑based integration via SAP BTP and CPI.
• Specify technical connectivity requirements (network zones, routing, ports, protocols, firewall rules) and maintain authentication/identity architecture (SSO, SAML/OAuth, certificate management).

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in integration architecture within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing integrations for operational supply‑chain processes in an SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector or healthcare enterprise standards (Queensland Health preferred).
