Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for security‑cleared Infrastructure Engineers to join our Defence and National Security practice in Adelaide. The role involves designing, implementing and sustaining secure ICT infrastructure for critical government programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain secure network and infrastructure solutions using Cisco and Juniper technologies.
• Administer Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Monitor network performance and security events with tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk or Cisco Transport Controller.
• Manage incidents, service requests and changes following ITIL/IT Service Management processes.
• Install, configure and integrate commercial off‑the‑shelf hardware and software.
• Perform lifecycle activities including build, upgrade, sustainment and decommissioning.
• Support disaster recovery, backup and business continuity operations.
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with current NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance.
• Experience working in secure Defence or Government ICT environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate within highly regulated, process‑driven settings.
