Industry Trainer – Youth & Schools Programs (WA)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainer to join our expanding team in Welshpool. The role offers flexible contract arrangements and focuses on guiding young students toward their career aspirations while providing a safe learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver trade and construction training to students aged 15 and above.
• Mentor and engage with young adults, fostering their development.
• Create and maintain accurate student records.
• Evaluate courses, programs, assessment tools and processes with the head trainer and assessor.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry legislation, standards and technological advances.
• Contribute to program improvements and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Construction industry experience.
• Ability to obtain a police clearance and Working with Children check prior to employment.
• Passion for working with youth and a coach/mentor mindset.
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher) – desired.
• Australian work rights and ability to complete a pre‑employment medical.
