Industrial Designer – Commercial Projects

About the role

BLANC SPACE is seeking an Industrial Designer to lead the creative direction of domestic and global projects for top‑tier clients. The role offers autonomy over concept development, detailed design, assembly, installation, and commissioning, while working in a flexible, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concepts and visuals using SolidWorks and produce detailed design packs with external suppliers.
• Own end‑to‑end design solutions throughout each project lifecycle.
• Coordinate prototype design and production with suppliers.
• Contribute to project proposals, including design concepts, specifications, and budgets.
• Manage site‑based maintenance, both reactive and preventative.
• Ensure effective staff resource management with a focus on health and safety.
• Develop and maintain client, supplier, and manufacturer relationships to achieve commercial success.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Design or a related product design discipline.
• 3–5 years of industry experience, demonstrating the ability to take projects from concept to completion.
• Team‑oriented, outcome‑focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously.
