ICT Delivery & Service Management Specialist (APS6)

About the role

We are seeking experienced ICT Delivery and Service Management Specialists (APS6) to support critical enterprise systems for an Australian Government organisation in Canberra. The role involves coordinating delivery, sustainment and operational activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support ICT delivery, sustainment and operational activities across multiple teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders, vendors and service providers to ensure effective service outcomes.
• Assist with governance, reporting, planning and risk management activities.
• Gather requirements, conduct business process analysis and drive service improvement initiatives.
• Enable and uplift IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and frameworks.
• Configure, optimise and support enterprise ITSM platforms and processes.
• Contribute to continual service improvement and operational excellence.
• Support procurement, contractor coordination and transition‑to‑support activities.

Required profile

• Current NV1 security clearance and ability to work onsite in Canberra.
• Experience in ICT project support, service delivery or operational coordination.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and tools, preferably in an ITIL‑aligned environment.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements management or process improvement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of governance, reporting and risk management.

Required skills

• ITSM platforms and processes.
• ITIL framework.
• Cloud technologies (knowledge of cloud services).
