HVAC Technician (Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration)

About the role

A well-established HVAC provider serving council and commercial sites across Melbourne is hiring an Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician due to a surge in council projects. The role reports directly to the Service Manager and offers progression into the installation department. A 4th-year apprentice is also welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing government and commercial sites across Melbourne
• Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting faults
• Maintaining and repairing mechanical HVAC systems, including central plants, package units and split systems
• Managing compliance documentation and site-specific safety protocols
• Engaging professionally with clients and site supervisors

Required profile

• Current D grade electrical permit
• Certificate III in air conditioning and refrigeration
• White or red oh&s card and working at heights certification
• Valid police check and working with children check (mandatory)
• Positive, self-motivated approach and strong customer focus
• Current refrigerant handling licence and Victorian driver's licence
