HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Service HVAC Technician for its Sunshine Coast team. The role covers a diverse portfolio of commercial HVAC systems for customers across several industries, with work-life balance, ongoing development and career progression within a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose faults and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions
• Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance activities
• Install, commission and optimise HVAC equipment and components
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Work safely and in line with compliance requirements, supported by local and remote specialists

Required profile

• Cert III Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade qualification (essential)
• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence (essential)
• Queensland Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence (essential)
• Proven experience in HVAC service and maintenance
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally
