HVAC Service Technician – Brisbane

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join its Brisbane team in Windsor. You will service a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial sites, working with a range of HVAC equipment and advanced building technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems across multiple industries.
• Diagnose faults, perform scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance, and install, commission and optimise equipment.
• Complete service documentation, maintain accurate records and ensure work complies with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Trade Qualification (Cert III Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) – essential.
• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence and Queensland Electrical/Restricted Electrical Licence – essential.
• Previous experience in HVAC service, maintenance or repairs with strong fault‑finding skills.
• Current driver’s licence and commitment to safety, quality and professional workmanship.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HVAC systems, chillers and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Refrigerant handling and electrical troubleshooting.
