Human Resources Officer

About the role

Join AESTEC’s growing team in Gladstone as a Human Resources Officer. You will provide hands‑on HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant and well‑organised.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end recruitment, including advertising, shortlisting, interviews and offers.
• Coordinate onboarding activities such as pre‑employment medicals, drug testing and contract preparation.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee and candidate records.
• Support employee relations matters, including performance discussions, investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor compliance with licences, training and client site requirements.
• Assist with employee exits, off‑boarding and HR projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR, recruitment or training role.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and relevant employment legislation.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
• Professional judgement and discretion with confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS/LMS systems.
