Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Human Resources Officer to support HR operations across our Australian offices. Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, you will manage day‑to‑day HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, payroll coordination and compliance, ensuring a seamless employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation, promotions, transfers, contract changes and off‑boarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, confirmation letters and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within the HRIS.
• Prepare and validate payroll inputs; coordinate payroll processing with Finance and external providers.
• Administer employee leave requests, monitor balances and ensure statutory compliance.
• Ensure HR documentation complies with local legislation and internal policies; support audits and visa/work‑rights documentation.
• Produce regular HR reports on headcount, turnover, leave utilization and other workforce metrics.
• Act as first point of contact for HR operational enquiries and provide timely support to employees and managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 + years experience in HR Operations, Administration or Coordinator roles.
• Strong understanding of HR administration, payroll processes and employment legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
